On Friday (25/2), SBS held a press conference for its new drama entitled “Business Proposal”. The event was attended by director Park Seon Ho and the four main actors, namely Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong, Kim Min Kyu and Seol In Ah.

Adapted from a webtoon, “Business Proposal” tells the story of an office romance full of thrills. The story focuses on Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong), a girl who has a secret crush on her friend.
After realizing that his friend already has a girlfriend, he decides to meet his best friend, Jin Young Seo (Seol In Ah). During the meeting, Jin Young Seo asked Shin Ha Ri to go on a blind date in her stead.
Shin Ha Ri is shocked when she finds out that the man on the blind date is Kang Tae Mu (Ahn Hyo Seop), the CEO of the company he works for. The next day, Shin Ha Ri receives a phone call from Kang Tae Mu offering a marriage proposal.
Because of the fun plot, the director and the cast are sure that viewers will feel the healing effect. The director said, “The original work was a very popular production. Before even starting, I thought it was a refreshing, funny and energetic story with added mature and sexy elements.”
He continued, “I think it can be a good project that can be watched without stress. In the process of making the drama, the writer wrote the script so that the audience could watch it comfortably, so I was able to enjoy myself with the actors.”
Ahn Hyo Seop also commented, “I hope this drama can become a healing drama for people. A time where you can put down your worries about life and comfortably enjoy the story for about an hour.”
Kim Sejeong added, “I hope people think of it like a snack. I also want people to recognize that there is a little girl in Kim Sejeong too. I mostly showed strong sides of my previous characters, so I wanted people to see a different side of me.”
Kim Min Kyu and Seol In Ah as a second couple agreed with the others. Kim Min Kyu said, “This is a drama that is a bit like camping. You guys go and stay for a while and find yourself smiling. It is a fun and happy drama, so you can watch it with light feelings.”
“I hope this can be a drama that people look forward to on Mondays and Tuesdays. My keyword is also ‘healing’. It’s not a difficult drama, but it’s not too light either, so you can watch it comfortably,” concluded Seol In Ah.
Meanwhile, the broadcast of the premiere episode of “Business Proposal” was postponed by a week due to issues related to COVID-19. The plan, this drama will start airing on Monday (28/2).
