Gleycy Correia, a former Miss Brazil and beauty queen, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27 after undergoing a routine procedure on her tonsils. Her death was a tragedy.

Correia, who was crowned Miss Brazil in 2018, passed away on Monday in a private facility after battling significant haemorrhage and a heart attack. She had been in poor health for some time.
According to the latest information, her funeral will take place on Tuesday at 11.30 a.m. local time.

What really took place with Gleycy Correia?

After having his tonsils removed, Correia, who was originally from Macae in southern Brazil, experienced severe bleeding and went into cardiac arrest (having her tonsils eradicated).
She remained in a coma for two months after the cardiac arrest that occurred in April, and regrettably, she passed away this week while still in that state.
“She had surgery to remove her tonsils, and after five days at home, she suffered a haemorrhage,” the family priest Lidiane Alves Oliviera stated. “She had a haemorrhage.”
She went to Unimed on April 4 and suffered a cardiac arrest there. Ever since then, she has been in a coma, and there has been no neurological activity in her body. She went away earlier today.”

On social media, Pastor Jak Abreu, who is aware of the struggles that Correia’s family is going through, paid tribute to Correia by posting, “God picked this day to collect our princess. We are well aware that she will be sorely missed, but we take comfort in the fact that her beaming smile will now be seen over the great beyond.
The Pastor continued, saying, “Thank you so much to everyone who prayed. I really appreciate it.” May the Lord hear and answer each and every prayer of love, as well as all of our prayers recently collectively. She accomplished what she set out to do, and the legacy of love she left behind is in us. We ask that you pray for the family and friends of the deceased, that they may find solace through the power of the Holy Spirit during this trying time.

What exactly happened to Gleycy Correia?

Correia was crowned the most beautiful woman in Brazil in 2018 when she won the title of Miss United Continents Brazil.
In addition to that, she had her own personal beauty business, which specialised in laser treatments and long-lasting make-up.
She had an infinite following on Instagram, which totaled more than 52,000 individuals, and it was there that she discussed her work and provided samples.
In a statement of condolence, a spokesman for Miss Brazil said that Gleycy “would always be remembered for her enlightened beauty, joy, and sensitivity reflected in her work.” [Citation needed]
