Authorities have now confirmed two adult drivers were killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened near Okotoks on Friday morning.

Preliminary investigations revealed the crash happened south of the Okotoks turnoff on Highway 2 when a vehicle travelling north on the highway lost control.

Okotoks Cause of Death

crossed the median and crashed into an SUV in the southbound lane.

Drivers who were sole occupants of each vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims were only identified as an adult female and an adult male.
