Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire recreate famous meme to promote ‘Spider-Man 3’

Before the premiere of ‘Spider-Man: No Return Home’, fans dreamed of seeing on the big screen a reproduction of one of the most famous memes of the hero, when its three versions point to themselves. Follow Celebrilla for more updates.

In the movie, the meme got a similar scene and it was all thanks to Andrew Garfield.

In an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Garfield revealed that one of the scenes was his idea.

“We were trying to figure out how to make that Spiders-pointing meme work, like, ‘How are we going to do the pointing thing in a way that makes sense?’ It took a while. But it just kind of happened naturally while we were on that scaffold deciding, ‘Peter #1, Peter #2 and Peter #3.’ But actually, I remember having a flash of lightning and then I ran to the set and said to [director] Jon [Watts]: ‘I got it, I know how we’re going to do it’.”

The moment is first reproduced as the three Peters work together in a science lab to cure Multiverse villains invading the MCU.

Garfield explained that his idea came about “the moment Jacob [Ned] is yelling, ‘Hey, Peter!’ And we all look and point at each other, you know? Jon loved this idea. I was so glad it worked. It was so fun and creative and satisfying.”
